His realistic paintings and three dimensional artwork are whimsical, nostalgic, creative reminders of the world we live in seen through the artist’s eyes.

As his business required more of his time and effort, he stopped exhibiting, continuing to paint on a limited basis. Now, retired from his business he has resumed painting. Dick's artwork has been exhibited in art fairs and galleries, mainly in the midwest, part of the collection of the museums, businesses and private collections.
